A fantastic opportunity has opened for an Agricultural Lawyer to join a well-established, multi-office practice with a strong reputation across the Westcountry. This is the perfect role for someone with existing agricultural law experience who wants to work with a diverse client base and enjoy genuine career progression. This role can be based in either Axminster, Seaton, Sidmouth or Exmouth.

The role

You'll be part of a thriving team, advising a wide range of clients including farmers, landowners, rural businesses, and estates. Your work will cover:

  • Rural and agricultural property transactions
  • Farm sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and succession planning
  • Agricultural tenancies and property rights
  • Land development, diversification, and commercial projects
  • Building strong client and referrer relationships through networking and promotion

About you

Applications are welcome from Solicitors, Legal Executives, and experienced Practitioners. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2-5 years' PQE in agricultural or rural property matters, or equivalent experience running their own caseload
  • Be confident working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent client care
  • Show enthusiasm for building relationships
