A leading national real estate practice is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join its expanding Plymouth team. With over 200 fee earners across multiple UK locations, the team is known for its scale, quality of work and strong commercial focus yet maintains a personable, collaborative culture where people genuinely enjoy what they do.

The Team
The real estate group is extremely busy and handles a broad spectrum of work, including:
- Development projects
- Acquisitions and disposals of investment, retail and industrial property
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Estate and portfolio management
- Work for public sector bodies, institutional investors and national retailers
The team continues to grow nationally, and this role will strengthen the offering in the Southwest.
The Role
You will play a key role in the growth and success of the Plymouth real estate practice, including:
- Running transactions from start to finish
- Providing high quality technical and commercial advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the development of the local market presence
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development and strategic initiatives

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE
- Have extensive experience in high quality real estate work from a regional or City firm
- Be confident advising landlords and/or tenants on property portfolios
- Ideally have experience in real estate finance
- Bring strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Have excellent networking and client development abilities
- Enjoy supervising and mentoring others
