An ambitious national firm seeks a technically minded Corporate Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join an established team. This role is ideal for an experienced fee‑earner seeking a move into PSL work or an existing PSL looking to work alongside and amplify the team\’s capabilities. You will drive the firm\’s legal‑tech and training agenda across corporate practice areas, with a particular focus on AI.
Responsibilities
You will design, deliver and embed legal‑tech solutions and learning across the corporate team, including developing AI awareness, guidance and best practice; creating and running training, workshops and clinics for fee‑earners; producing practical precedent packs, toolkits and workflows that combine legal know‑how with technology; acting as a visible thought leader on how technology transforms corporate legal work; partnering with practice leaders on knowledge strategy and continuous improvement; and supporting fee‑earners in adopting new processes and systems on live matters.
Candidate profile
- Qualification and experience: Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE; current or recent fee‑earner experience welcomed and proven transition into PSL roles is understood and supported.
- Technical focus: Practical exposure to AI considerations with corporate law, tools and commercial legal software;
- Learning and development: Demonstrable experience designing and delivering training for busy practitioners and producing usable precedents, checklists or workflows.
- Commercial mindset: Ability to translate tech capability into client and business value; pragmatic, curious and outcomes‑driven.
- Team fit: Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working alongside an existing PSL and practice leads.
