We are seeking an accomplished Construction Partner to join a progressive and respected law firm based in their modern Oxford office. This role presents the opportunity to lead and develop the firm\’s construction practice, working with a core team and diverse client base across Oxfordshire and the South East.
You will guide the strategic direction of the department while delivering expert legal services in contentious and/or non-contentious construction matters with the firm able to support the right individual for the role. As a trusted advisor, you\’ll nurture long-standing client relationships and expand the firm\’s presence in the sector through business development and cross-practice collaboration. Internally, you will mentor junior lawyers and help maintain a supportive and inclusive team culture.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of post-qualification experience in construction law. You\’ll bring proven experience in building client portfolios and contributing to firm-wide growth strategies, alongside a strong understanding of the legal and commercial landscape in the region.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include engaging directly with clients, overseeing a range of construction-related instructions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You\’ll be involved in seminars, networking events, and initiatives to grow the department\’s profile. Collaboration across the firm is key to identifying cross-selling opportunities and delivering a seamless client experience.
