Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading UK law firm, currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their highly rated Construction team in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Top 50 firm with a strong reputation for excellence in transactional construction work. The team advises a broad client base including public bodies, developers, purchasers, and contractors, and is involved in some of the most complex and high-value projects in the market.
The Role
You\βll work closely with senior colleagues and clients on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and related documentation
- Advising on procurement strategies and project structuring
- Supporting clients through the lifecycle of major developments and infrastructure projects
- Managing multi-party interests, including funding arrangements and project finance-led structures
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to experienced construction lawyers with a strong transactional background. We\βre looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- 4-8 years\β PQE in non-contentious construction law
- Experience gained at a national, regional or City firm, or in-house with a major contractor or public body
- Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- A confident, personable approach and collaborative mindset
Location & Working Arrangements
- This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of office and remote working. While the role is primarily based in Bristol, other office locations may be considered for the right candidate. Applications from those seeking a 4-day working week are also welcome.
