Are you an experienced Construction Lawyer looking for a new challenge? Our client are a top 100 commercial law firm who are seeking a 4-8 PQE Associate or Senior Associate to join their thriving team, advising on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. With a strong pipeline of high-profile transactional work, this role offers exposure to complex projects across multiple sectors.
The Role:
- Advising on JCT and NEC contracts from a construction and property development perspective.
- Handling PPP and PFI transactions, offering strategic legal support.
- Working with FIDIC and ICHEME contract forms for large-scale projects.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices, developing a wide-ranging skill set.
- Leading and contributing to challenging construction-related disputes and transactions.
Requirements:
- 4-8 PQE with strong construction law experience.
- Background in national, regional, or City law firms, or in-house at a major contractor, consultant, or public body.
- Confident and personable approach, comfortable with direct client engagement.
- Strong expertise in JCT and NEC contracts, and wider procurement experience (PFI/PPP).
- Technically excellent with strong commercial awareness.
- Exceptional communication skills and all round team player.
