Exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Associate / Senior Associate to join this leading firm with a number of offices in the East of England. Ideally you will have at least 7 years of experience in commercial property law, particularly within the Essex and Northern Home Counties area.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and financing transactions
- Provide high-quality legal advice to clients including businesses, investors, and developers
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the success of the commercial property team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE in commercial property law
- Background of working within a reputable private practice
- Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions including landlord and tenant matters
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
Day-to-Day
- Reviewing and drafting commercial leases, contracts and agreements
- Conducting due diligence and title investigations
- Attending client meetings and providing professional advice and strategy recommendations
- Networking and engaging in business development activities to expand the firm's client base
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of commercial property matters
