Leading Warwickshire firm has a vacancy for a clinical negligence solicitor / CILEx to join their Coventry team. Applications are welcome from solicitors at all levels.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis claims, surgical negligence claims, birth injury claims, dental negligence claims, and delayed treatment.
  • Handling new and existing clinical negligence claims, including litigated matters.
  • Attending Court hearings.
  • Liaising with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals.
  • Preparing and drafting documents, briefs, instructions, and schedules.
  • Valuing claims and dealing with settlement negotiations.

You will work as part of a team and ideally be able to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and assist on more complex matters. A confident, friendly approach and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and external contacts are essential.
