- 50,000A national law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or FCILEx to join its busy and well established claimant Clinical Negligence team in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied and complex caseload within a supportive group structure, with flexibility to work from home 3-4 days per week.The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing a litigated claimant clinical negligence caseload, including:Running your own caseload of pre and post issue clinical negligence claimsSupervising junior colleagues under the direction of the Group LeaderUsing the firm's case management systems and adhering to SLAs and performance targetsAchieving billing, time utilisation and telephony KPIsParticipating in team training, marketing and wider departmental activitiesWorking collaboratively within a friendly, professional group structure with clear supportCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a qualified Solicitor, FCILEx or experienced case handler with:Experience managing a litigated claimant clinical negligence or serious PI caseloadStrong knowledge of CPR and clinical negligence lawAbility to deal sensitively with clients and work professionally with colleagues, experts, counsel, insurers and defendant representativesExperience with Legal Expense Insurance, publicly funded matters or CFAs (advantageous)Proactive case progression skills and the ability to drive matters to successful resolutionExcellent organisational skills and a pragmatic approach to managing claimsStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfident use of IT systems and case management softwareEnthusiasm, motivation and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clientsBenefitsThe firm offers:Excellent annual leave and welfare benefitsHealth cash plan and gym/lifestyle perksWork life balance and "dress for your day" policyRecognition and referral schemesClear development pathways and routes to qualificationA strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and sustainabilityHow to ApplyIf this opportunity sounds of interest or you'd like a confidential conversation about your next career move, please contact:Email: : / At Chadwick Nott, we are committed to developing a diverse and inclusive culture as well as supporting our large client network achieve the same.
