Chadwick Nott are pleased to be assisting a well-established regional law firm in their search for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their Bridport office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator with strong expertise in contested probate, property litigation, and boundary disputes to take on a varied caseload and contribute to a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters with a focus on contested probate, property disputes, and boundary issues
- Advising clients with clarity and professionalism across a range of contentious matters
- Handling files independently from instruction to resolution
- Building strong relationships with clients, counsel, and third parties
- Contributing to business development and supporting the wider litigation team
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Minimum 5 years' PQE in civil litigation
- Extensive experience in contested probate is essential
- Strong knowledge of property litigation and boundary disputes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Strong client care and communication abilities
