A well established and expanding law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor, CILEX or Fee Earner to join its busy and growing Property Team in Cirencester. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of commercial property matters while collaborating closely with experienced specialists in a supportive environment.

The Role

  • You'll manage your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion, including:
  • Handling a full caseload of commercial property transactions
  • Running files from start to finish, including onboarding, case management, billing and file closure
  • Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other parties to ensure smooth progression
  • Advising on landlord and tenant matters, leases and renewals, the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, sales and acquisitions, and easements
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • This role is suited to a candidate with:
  • 2-5 years' experience in commercial property work
  • Proven ability to manage a commercial property caseload independently
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
  • Confidence drafting and negotiating commercial leases and renewals
  • Experience advising landlords and tenants on heads of terms
  • Experience with sales and acquisitions of commercial property and easements
  • Experience in agricultural property, options and overage (beneficial but not essential)
