A leading national law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its growing Banking & Finance team in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded practice advising lenders, corporates and sponsors on a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset based lending. The team is known for its collaborative approach, strong technical capability and commitment to delivering innovative funding solutions tailored to client needs.
The Role
You will work closely with colleagues and clients across a broad spectrum of banking and finance matters. Responsibilities include:
- Advising on a range of banking and finance issues
- Developing and maintaining strong technical knowledge within the sector
- Collaborating with colleagues to share expertise and support team development
- Building internal referral networks and contributing to business development initiatives
- Managing client relationships and delivering high quality, commercially focused advice
Candidate Requirements
You will need:
- 1-4 years' PQE (or more)
- A solid grounding in banking and finance law
- Experience in leveraged finance and real estate finance (desirable)
- Excellent drafting skills and strong technical ability
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong client relationships
- Strong commercial awareness
- A proactive, ambitious and organised approach
- Excellent attention to detail and strong teamwork skills
