The Role You'll work closely with business owners, corporates and fast growth entrepreneurs across a wide range of sectors.
Expect exposure to high quality, varied corporate work such as: Acquisitions and disposals Management buyouts and founder exits Shareholders' agreements and joint ventures Early stage and private equity investments Group reorganisations and governance matters Partnership agreements and general company law advisory work You'll take ownership of your own matters appropriate to your level, support senior lawyers on more complex transactions, and play an active role in the team's ongoing growth.
As the department continues to expand, there is genuine scope to shape your career, develop specialist interests and contribute to the team's strategic direction.
You'll also be involved in business development to inlcude attending events, building relationships and helping to generate new opportunities for the team.
Candidate Requirements The firm is looking for someone who brings both technical ability and the right mindset.
You will ideally have:3-5 PQE in corporate law Experience from a corporate or commercial law firm Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities An interest in business development Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills You'll be a team player who builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues and thrives in a fast paced, supportive environment.
