An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly respected Cheltenham based team as an Associate or Senior Associate. The Private Client department is known for its exceptional work with high net worth individuals, owner managed businesses and agricultural clients, offering a broad and varied caseload. Many team members hold STEP qualifications or are part of Solicitors for the Elderly. The team also acts for a number of private family charitable trusts and regularly advises clients with international assets.
The Role
- Provide high quality, profitable fee earning support within the Private Client team
- Advise on a wide range of matters including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, estates and tax
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge, collaborating with colleagues across the wider team
- Contribute to business development, networking, marketing and cross selling opportunities
Candidate Requirements
- 2-7 years' PQE
- STEP qualification or working towards it
- Strong technical ability and excellent drafting skills
- Flexibility to work in other regional offices when required
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage client relationships effectively
- Strong teamwork and relationship building skills
- A proactive, ambitious and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to support and mentor junior team members
