A leading UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded and fast growing Real Estate team in Cardiff. The Role
- Supporting partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including:
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Leasing and landlord/tenant matters
- Development and regeneration projects
- Property finance transactions
- Preparing and managing Land Registry applications and correspondence
- Drafting engrossments and transactional documentation under supervision
- Assisting with CPSEs and wider due diligence
- Supporting post completion processes, including SDLT/LTT filings and requisitions
- Managing priority searches, undertakings and transaction records
- Preparing documentation for data rooms and client reporting
- Maintaining and updating precedents, checklists and internal templates
- Supporting compliance, conflict checks and client onboarding processes
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years PQE in commercial real estate
- Experience gained at a City, national or strong regional firm
- Exposure to advising developers, landlords, tenants, investors and occupiers
- Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach
- Confidence working collaboratively within a busy team environment
- Willingness to support trainees and junior colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
