A leading UK law firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer with a strong focus on High Court employment disputes and arbitration to join its nationally recognised Employment Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the financial and professional services sectors, advising on complex contentious employment matters within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The Role

  • Advising clients on a wide range of contentious employment matters, including:
    • High value breach of contract claims
    • Obtaining, resisting, and enforcing injunctions
    • Team moves, restrictive covenants, and disputes concerning confidential information
    • Complex employment contracts and LLP arrangements
    • Supporting clients in the financial and professional services sectors
    • Contributing to wider employment practice initiatives and cross-border projects

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in employment law, with a focus on High Court disputes and/or arbitration
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, ambitious, and commercial mindset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Prior experience or knowledge of financial services conduct and regulatory issues (advantageous but not essential)
