Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well‑established regional law firm currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to work on a varied and high‑quality caseload within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.
The Role
- Advising a diverse client base across sectors including housing and third sector
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of property‑related legal documents
- Managing complex caseloads and providing strategic legal guidance
- Supervising junior team members and offering mentoring support
- Engaging in business development and attending networking events
- Maintaining technical competence and staying up to date with legal developments
- Leading by example in line with SRA competence standards
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years PQE in commercial property
- Experience in the housing sector or with third sector clients (advantageous)
- Strong technical legal knowledge and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex caseloads
- A proactive, team‑oriented approach with leadership capabilities
