The firm is recognised in the Legal 500 and advises a broad range of public sector bodies, regulated organisations, and commercial clients on complex disputes and strategic matters.
The RoleThis is a standout opportunity to take a lead role in developing and growing a specialist public sector disputes practice from Cardiff.
You'll work on a broad range of challenging and high-profile matters, including: Procurement and tendering disputesCommercial contract litigationGovernance and regulatory disputesClaims involving public bodies and regulated organisationsStrategic and business-critical litigationWelsh public sector and wider public law-related disputesCandidate RequirementsSignificant experience in public sector litigation and dispute resolutionStrong expertise in procurement litigation and procurement-related disputesExperience advising public bodies, suppliers, contractors or regulated organisationsA solid understanding of commercial contracts, governance issues and litigation risk managementProven business development and client relationship skillsThe ability to lead complex matters strategically and work collaboratively across multiple practice areasExperience supervising, mentoring or leading legal teamsKnowledge of the Welsh public sector landscape would be advantageousAn existing client following would be welcomed but is not essentialThis opportunity would suit an established Partner, Legal Director, Senior Associate or Principal Associate ready to take the next step in their career.
