The Role
- Managing a team of 12, with 6-7 direct reports, ensuring high standards of service and case management.
- Driving business development and marketing initiatives to grow the PI offering across multiple office locations.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing team members to ensure strong performance and alignment with strategic goals.
- Handling a caseload of serious and complex injury claims, including brain injury matters.
- Overseeing financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Working closely with senior leadership to contribute to firm wide strategy and cross team collaboration.
- Promoting a supportive, collaborative culture and sharing best practice across the Injury Services division.
Candidate Requirements
- Has proven experience at Head of Department level or in a comparable senior leadership role.
- Possesses extensive expertise in Personal Injury law, with a strong track record in high value and complex cases (brain injury experience preferred).
- Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to support and develop a team of fee earners.
- Brings a commercial mindset and confidence in business development and client relationship management.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for clients while nurturing a high performing team.
- Values collaboration, professionalism, and a forward thinking approach.
