Join one of the South's leading regional law firms. My client is a well-established, highly ranked practice with strong coverage across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Known for its quality of work, modern approach and continued growth, the firm is now seeking a Senior Associate or Partner to strengthen its Family team in Dorset.

The Role

A senior opportunity within a respected and expanding Family practice, working on high quality private family matters including:

  • Complex financial remedy cases
  • Children matters
  • Relationship breakdowns and associated disputes

You'll work closely with specialist family lawyers across the region and play a key role in shaping the team's presence in Dorset. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a high value caseload
  • Providing leadership and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Building strong referral networks
  • Leading business development activity
  • Supporting the continued growth of the Family team

The team is known for its constructive, Resolution led approach, with strong capability in both non-court and court based work.

Candidate Requirements

We're looking for a senior family law specialist with:

  • Significant experience in private family law (financial and children matters)
  • ADR qualifications (e.g., mediation, collaborative law)
  • Strong technical and procedural expertise
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high value cases
  • A strong regional network and business development experience (a following is a bonus)
