Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a leading international law firm in their search for an Employment Associate to join their high-performing Employment team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of employment matters for major clients across sectors, with exposure to both domestic and international work.

The Role

This is a varied and client-facing position offering high-quality advisory and contentious employment work. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, and discrimination matters
  • Handling Employment Tribunal litigation and High Court claims
  • Supporting employment aspects of corporate transactions and reorganisations
  • Working with major employer clients across sectors including finance, tech, and government
  • Collaborating with colleagues across practice groups and jurisdictions
  • Contributing to client training, thought leadership, and business development

Candidate Requirements

  • 3+ years PQE in employment law
  • Strong technical knowledge and litigation experience
  • Excellent drafting and advisory skills
  • A commercial mindset and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a large, high-performing team
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and continuous learning
