A forward-thinking commercial practice is looking for a talented Construction Associate to join its growing disputes team. With a strong pipeline of high-value work and a reputation for delivering smart, strategic solutions, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role that blends technical challenge with real career momentum.

You’ll be advising a broad mix of clients from developers and contractors to housing providers and professionals on complex construction disputes across the UK. Expect to get stuck into adjudications, mediations, arbitrations and TCC litigation, while also supporting on contract drafting and negotiation across JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements.

This is a team that’s involved in some of the most exciting infrastructure and regeneration projects in the country. You’ll collaborate across departments, contribute to business development, and help shape the future of the practice.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing contentious construction matters including delay claims, defects, payment issues and professional negligence
  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and related documents
  • Advising on risk, procurement and regulatory compliance
  • Supporting high-profile disputes through adjudication, arbitration and litigation
  • Working closely with senior lawyers and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to BD, knowledge sharing and client pitches
