A respected regional law firm is seeking a Care Solicitor with 2+ years' post qualification experience to join its established Care team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious fee earner to manage a varied and rewarding caseload within a supportive, forward thinking environment.

The Role

  • Handling your own caseload of public law children matters
  • Representing parents, guardians, and other parties in care proceedings
  • Drafting documents, preparing cases, and attending court
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, social services, and external professionals
  • Contributing to a collaborative and high performing team culture
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent client care
  • Travelling to the firm's other offices when required (Newport, Abergavenny, Ebbw Vale)

Candidate Requirements

  • 2+ years PQE in care or children law
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in managing matters independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive, motivated approach
