A well established professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior with a minimum of 3 years' experience in personal tax to join its respected Private Wealth team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role preparing Partners' self assessment tax returns within a collaborative and long standing Tax & Trust Accounting team.
The Role
- You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax work, including:
- Preparing Partners' self assessment tax returns
- Arranging payment of tax liabilities and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant personal tax legislation
- Providing ad hoc advice on personal tax queries throughout the year
- Supervising and supporting two Tax Apprentices
- Contributing to a supportive and collaborative team culture
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to an experienced tax professional with:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a personal tax environment
- Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience preparing partners' self assessment tax returns (Desirable)
- Experience with trusts, Inheritance Tax, and CCH tax software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, organised and motivated approach
