Overview
As a Supervising/Managing Associate in our Bristol Fund Finance team, you advise on complex fund-financing structures for lenders, asset managers and sponsors. You’ll work closely with partners, manage transactions from day one, and supervise junior lawyers while building trusted client relationships. The role contributes to business development and the practice’s strategic growth, shaping the next phase of our funds finance offering. This is a high-impact, collaborative opportunity in a market-leading team.

Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of fund finance transactions (e.g., capital call, NAV, hybrid, GP/management fee, co-invest, continuation vehicle financings)
- Manage transactions and supervise junior lawyers
- Develop and maintain client relationships and provide commercial guidance
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
- Collaborate with partners and senior colleagues to shape strategy and growth
- Support on complex lending structures and bespoke fund-related facilities
- Draft and oversee transactional documentation with attention to accuracy and timeliness
Key requirements
- Minimum 4+ years' PQE in fund finance
- Experience acting for lenders and/or sponsors/borrowers
- Strong understanding of fund structures and partnership documentation
- Excellent drafting and transactional management skills
- Confidence running matters with supervision
- Strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness
- Demonstrable interest in business development and practice growth
- Experience supervising junior lawyers (advantageous)
