A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Associate to join a highly regarded Succession & Tax team. This full service practice is known for its client centric approach, high quality work and strong reputation across multiple practice areas. You will be joining a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The Role
You will join a busy and dedicated team, managing an existing client base while also supporting business development activity across the Bath and Bristol region. This is a varied and rewarding role with exposure to high value and complex matters, including:
- Providing tax and estate planning advice to a broad range of clients, including HNW and UHNW individuals
- Advising farmers, landowners and business owners on succession planning
- Managing complex probate and estate administration matters
- Advising on the creation, restructuring and winding up of trusts
- Handling Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on Court of Protection matters
- Working closely with Partners and colleagues across multiple offices
This role can be based in Bristol, with opportunities to collaborate with Partners and fee earners across the wider network.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with relevant experience in succession, tax and estate planning
- Experience advising HNW and UHNW clients
- Strong background in complex probate and estate administration
- Experience with trusts, LPAs and Court of Protection matters
- Excellent client care skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a holistic, client focused manner
- Strong communication skills and the ability to supervise junior staff
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, organised approach
