Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

  • You will work as a senior member of the Regulatory & Corporate Defence team, advising on complex and high profile matters, including:
  • General regulatory defence, health and safety, anti bribery and financial crime
  • Investigations involving regulators such as the CMA, SFO, HSE and Environment Agency
  • Support on inquests and public inquiries (experience beneficial)
  • Environmental regulation, food law, licensing, trading standards and transport regulatory matters
  • White collar investigations and corporate crime issues
  • Providing strategic, pragmatic advice to clients across multiple sectors
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  • Participating in business development, networking and sector focused initiatives
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' PQE within a professional legal environment
  • Strong experience in regulatory defence, investigations or health and safety
  • Ability to manage complex matters with professionalism and efficiency
  • Experience handling multi agency investigations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients
  • A collaborative approach and interest in contributing to team strategy
  • Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues
  • An established client base or referral network (preferred but not essential)
  • Competence using Microsoft Office, case management and digital dictation systems
