Solicitor / FCILEx - Contract & Commercial Litigation - Bristol
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: From £42,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
A respected national law firm is seeking a Solicitor or FCILEx to join its Contract & Commercial Litigation team in Bristol. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of civil litigation matters (excluding personal injury), acting for both Claimants and Defendants on complex contractual disputes. The team is highly collaborative, supportive and committed to professional development.
The Role
You will manage a busy and varied caseload, including:
- Commercial and consumer contract disputes
- Misrepresentation claims
- Professional negligence matters
- Construction related litigation
- Fast, intermediate and multi track cases
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload independently
- Advising clients by phone and face to face
- Progressing matters using the firm's case management system
- Handling billing and invoicing
- Working closely with colleagues in a co operative team environment
- Hybrid or fully remote working is available, with Bristol office attendance for internal meetings when required.
Candidate Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor or FCILEx
- Candidates with experience handling contract based disputes
- Individuals confident managing fast and multi track matters
- Strong communicators with excellent organisational skills
- Pragmatic problem solvers with a client focused approach
- IT literate candidates with case management experience
- Experience with insurance funded clients is desirable but not essential.
