The Role
This senior role offers a broad mix of commercial property law with a specialist focus on pension scheme assets. Responsibilities include:
- Managing acquisitions, transfers in specie, leases, and disposals of pension scheme property assets
- Leading transactions and supporting larger team-led matters
- Advising on HMRC pension scheme regulations and compliance
- Supporting client relationship management and business development
- Contributing to internal training and departmental know-how
- Reporting directly to Partners and managing your own caseload
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a solicitor with:
- 10+ years PQE in commercial property law, with pension scheme experience
- Strong technical knowledge of pension property transactions and HMRC regulations
- Excellent drafting and legal analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage transactions independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a close-knit team
Working Arrangements
This role supports hybrid working. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the Bristol office two days per week, with the remaining days from home.
