A leading Private Client team in Bristol is seeking a Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to manage a high quality caseload of complex taxable estates. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a modern, well structured team offering unrivalled exposure to complex work, strong internal support, and a genuinely progressive working environment.
The Role
- Manage up to 40 taxable full estate administration matters
- Work on complex estates referred by high quality IFA partners
- Exposure to trusts, cross border estates and advanced tax issues (with full support to upskill)
- Collaborate with a dedicated team structure including:
- Team Manager
- Assistant Team Manager
- Legal Assistants
- Specialist support team handling property work, income tax and estate accounts
- Progression focused case management with no time recording
- Work on a fixed fee model
- Earning up to 6% quarterly bonus based on case progression
- No requirement to bring in new business - a separate sales function handles all case set up
Candidate Requirements
- 4+ years' PQE in estate administration and wider private client work
- Strong experience handling taxable estates
- Confidence managing complex matters with autonomy
- Interest in developing expertise in trusts, cross border estates and advanced tax issues
- Excellent communication skills and a client focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support junior team members
