A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its Employment team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team alongside "Leading Individuals" and contribute to a growing practice with a strong reputation across the UK.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of employment matters, including:
- Advising employers on disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
- Leading Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents)
- Providing employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts
- Drafting contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment documentation
- Collaborating with Partners and working closely with the wider national Employment team
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years PQE in employment law (SRA or Law Society Registered)
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence in managing matters independently and engaging with clients at all levels
- Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
- Appetite for business development and maintaining strong client relationships
