A leading law firm in Bristol is seeking a Regulatory and Disputes Associate to join its specialist team focusing on technology, AI, and complex investigations. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of legal developments, advising on high-value and often high-profile matters involving emerging technologies and evolving regulatory frameworks.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, gaining exposure to cutting-edge issues in AI, data, and digital regulation. The role also offers the chance to contribute to the growth of the practice and support junior team members.
Key responsibilities- Advising on complex disputes and investigations involving AI, data, and technology
- Managing workstreams and supervising junior lawyers on active matters
- Drafting high-quality legal documents and supporting regulatory enforcement cases
- Contributing to business development and the growth of the technology disputes practice
This role would suit an associate with 3 + years' PQE and strong experience in commercial disputes or regulatory investigations. A background in technology or data-related matters would be advantageous. Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills are essential, alongside a collaborative and proactive approach.
