An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced residential development lawyer to join a high performing, nationally recognised Real Estate team in their modern Bristol offices. This role sits within a specialist residential development group and focuses on affordable housing and BTR/PRS transactions.
This team advises a wide range of leading clients, from major PLC housebuilders to dynamic SME developers, registered providers, funds and institutional investors. They are trusted on high value, complex development projects and are known for delivering top tier work across the entire lifecycle of a scheme. From land acquisition through to affordable housing, build to rent, site set up, management structures and infrastructure agreements, the team handles developments from concept to completion.
You will not be dealing with plots work, as this is handled by a dedicated specialist team, allowing you to focus on major transactional matters and strategic development work.
The wider real estate practice is substantial, with over 70 lawyers and more than 20 partners, supported by strong construction, planning, tax, litigation and site set up teams, as well as an award winning in house legal tech function. The residential development team works nationally giving you exposure to some of the most significant schemes in the UK.
This outstanding team is keen to meet Senior Associates or Associate Directors with strong experience in affordable housing and residential development. They are open to considering candidates with slightly more or less experience who can demonstrate the right expertise and ambition.
