An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Senior Associate (7+ PQE) to join a nationally recognised Property Litigation team based in Bristol. This is a chance to make a real impact in a supportive, people-focused environment with clear opportunities for progression, working on high-profile projects and advising a diverse range of public and private sector clients.
The Role
- Handling property litigation in UK courts and tribunals, including First-tier and Upper Tribunals and up to Court of Appeal level
- Providing wider contentious property advice outside of litigation
- Advising on Building Safety Act 2022 matters and residential leasehold management (forfeiture, service charges, section 20 consultation)
- Managing your own caseload with autonomy while supporting senior colleagues on complex matters
- Actively engaging in business development to support ambitious growth plans
- Supervising and delegating to junior colleagues where appropriate
Candidate Requirements
- 7+ years PQE in property litigation
- Strong technical credentials and demonstrable relevant experience
- Excellent drafting, written and analytical skills
- Confidence in managing caseloads independently and working directly with clients
- A proactive, professional approach with strong project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Interest or experience in supervising junior colleagues
- Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving
- Genuine enthusiasm for business development and building client relationships
