The firm is expanding its busy and thriving Litigation Team and is now seeking to hire a Property Litigation Associate to join their Complex Litigation Department.
As a Property Litigation Associate, you will manage your own caseload of property disputes while working closely with a highly skilled and supportive team. You'll be involved in a wide range of matters including property damage, trespass, and nuisance claims, with the opportunity to raise your professional profile and contribute to the continued success of the team.
The Role- Running a varied caseload of property litigation matters from inception to trial.
- Advising clients on disputes and resolving them through the courts, mediation, or other ADR techniques.
- Delivering work with a strong focus on risk management and client service excellence.
- Meeting annual billing targets and KPIs.
- Supervising and supporting junior colleagues where required, helping them achieve their own targets and develop skills.
- A detailed understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and experience of litigating cases through to trial.
- Strong knowledge of mediation and ADR techniques.
- Experience in property-specific disputes (damage, trespass, nuisance) is desirable, though training can be provided.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise on complex matters clearly and confidently.
- Resilience, empathy, and a client-focused approach to contentious work.
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload independently.
- Supervisory or management experience will be an advantage.
