A national, award winning law firm is expanding its Bristol-based Property Disputes team. With top tier rankings in Legal 500 and Chambers, this is a practice known for high profile work, deep expertise and a genuinely supportive, collaborative culture. You’ll join a highly respected national team acting for an impressive range of clients from private individuals, trusts, registered providers, national housebuilders, major corporates, retailers, developers, transport bodies and renewable energy organisations. The team is also known for specialist expertise in telecoms, leasehold enfranchisement, rights of way, rights to light, commons and greens, agricultural property, insolvency‑related disputes and TOLATA matters.

The Role

As a Solicitor / Associate (NQ‑3 PQE), you’ll work on high value, strategic and often high profile matters across the region and nationally. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in Bristol and across the wider national team. Your work will include:

  • Advising commercial clients including landlords, tenants, investors, developers, retailers, transport bodies and renewable energy operators.
  • Handling a broad range of contentious property matters such as development disputes, property contract issues, lease renewals and terminations, dilapidations, disrepair, break notices, forfeiture, breach of covenant and service charge disputes.
  • Supporting on wider property-related disputes including trusts of land.
  • Working on energy and renewables sector matters involving land rights, title issues, easements, restrictive covenants, options, overage, agreements for lease/purchase, trespass and nuisance.
  • Contributing to constancy development and client relationship building.
  • Managing your own caseload with support from senior lawyers across the national team.
