A growing and award winning residential property team is seeking a motivated Fee Earning Paralegal to join its busy Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about conveyancing to develop their technical skills, manage their own files under supervision, and contribute directly to a high performing, client focused team.

The Role

This is a fee earning position, and you will be responsible for managing your own caseload under the supervision of an experienced Fee Earner. Responsibilities include:

  • Handling a mixed caseload of residential sale and purchase files under supervision
  • Acting as a key fee earner within the team, contributing to matter progression and client service
  • Updating clients, introducers, and agents throughout the transaction
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Reviewing responses and preparing detailed reports for clients
  • Managing pre exchange and completion tasks
  • Working collaboratively with Fee Earners, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high professional standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Holds GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Ideally has a law degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent legal qualification (not essential)
  • Has experience working in a law firm, ideally within residential conveyancing or wider property work
  • Has experience working in a service driven, fast paced environment
  • Is confident using IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Is motivated to progress and take ownership of fee earning responsibilities
