Banking and Finance NQ Solicitor – Bristol
This award-winning Banking & Finance team is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their nationally recognised practice. Ranked Tier 1 in the Legal 500 and highly rated in Chambers UK, the team is known for delivering exceptional technical expertise and first class client service across a broad range of finance work.
As an NQ, you’ll step into a role that offers genuine breadth. You’ll gain exposure to transactions ranging from £1 million to £1 billion, spanning acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance and asset based lending. It’s the ideal environment to build a strong foundation in the sector. You’ll work with a high calibre client base including major banks, international corporates, investment funds and financial institutions. The matters you’ll handle are high value, complex and often nationally significant including cross border deals with international clients and partner firms.
THE ROLE
- Join a top tier Banking & Finance team working on a diverse range of transactions
- Advise borrowers, sponsors and lenders across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, transport and real estate
- Gain hands on experience in acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance and asset based lending
- Work on high value, high profile matters with major financial institutions and international clients

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (qualifying by September 2026)
- A Banking & Finance seat is not essential. Candidates with strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in finance work are encouraged to apply
