A top tier national firm with a strong reputation in insurance litigation is seeking a motivated Litigation Executive to join its highly respected Catastrophic Injury team which is known for handling complex, high value defence work.
The Role
You’ll support senior lawyers on some of the most serious and high profile personal injury cases in the UK, including matters involving:
- Catastrophic injuries (brain, spinal, amputation, polytrauma, psychiatric injury)
- High value EL/PL and motor claims
- Sensitive and nationally reported cases
- Group litigation and cross border investigations
Day to day responsibilities include
- Preparing detailed medical chronologies
- Arranging expert appointments and conferences with counsel
- Assisting with disclosure and evidence management
- Supporting the investigation and progression of large, complex claims
- Helping to train and mentor a junior Litigation Associate
You’ll work closely with experienced partners recognised as leaders in the catastrophic injury field, acting for major insurers, corporates and self insured organisations.
Candidate Requirements
- 5-6+ years’ experience in personal injury defence litigation
- Strong background assisting on large or complex cases
- Confident communicator with excellent written skills
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to handle sensitive, high profile matters with professionalism
