A leading national law firm is seeking a Legal Director with 5+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Trusts and Estates Disputes (TED) team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior role in one of the UK's largest specialist teams, delivering expert legal services to a diverse client base including charities, high-net-worth individuals, and financial institutions.

The Role

  • Managing a complex caseload of contentious trusts and probate matters
  • Advising clients on disputes over wills, trusts, executors, and trustees
  • Handling financial provision claims and contested Court of Protection applications
  • Drafting and preparing court documents under tight deadlines
  • Conducting client meetings and offering strategic legal advice
  • Supporting senior colleagues and mentoring junior team members
  • Participating in business development initiatives locally and nationally
  • Ensuring compliance with service level agreements and firm standards

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious trusts and estates work
  • Strong technical knowledge and litigation experience
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal IT systems
  • A minimum grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
