The Role
You will join a highly ranked, nationally recognised employment team providing specialist advice to a wide range of clients, including PLCs, SMEs, senior executives and professionals. Work will include:
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters
- Unfair dismissal and discrimination claims
- TUPE and workforce transfers
- Whistleblowing
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- Strategic advisory work for senior leadership teams and boards
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues across the national team
- Leading business development initiatives and contributing to team strategy
- Helping drive continued growth within the Bristol office
The team benefits from a dedicated Professional Skills Employment Lawyer and in house Counsel, supporting technical excellence, training and complex advisory work.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior employment lawyer who can demonstrate:
- Director or Partner level experience within a reputable employment practice
- A strong client following or established referral network
- Excellent technical knowledge across the full spectrum of employment law
- Experience advising both employers and senior executives
- A commercial, pragmatic approach to client service
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to contribute to team growth
- Interest in business development and shaping long term strategy
- Commitment to collaborative working and supporting a national team
