A leading UK law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with a minimum of 4 years' post qualification experience to join its highly regarded Corporate Healthcare team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high profile and complex healthcare transactions within a dynamic, collaborative, and commercially focused environment.
The Role
- Advising clients across the healthcare sector on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- M&A transactions for regulated healthcare businesses
- Private equity investments and buy and build strategies
- Corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents
- Managing healthcare specific due diligence and regulatory compliance
- Leading negotiations and managing transactions from inception to completion
- Providing strategic corporate advice aligned with healthcare regulations
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across tax, employment, commercial, banking, and real estate
- Supporting business development, networking, and thought leadership initiatives
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 4 years PQE in corporate law
- Experience advising healthcare or other regulated sector clients (desirable)
- Strong experience in M&A, private equity, and general corporate advisory work
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Confidence managing transactions independently and leading client discussions
- Strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and market trends
- A commercial, solutions focused approach to client advice
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative mindset
- Ambition to progress and contribute to the growth of the corporate team
