This is an excellent opportunity to work within a top 100 firm, gaining exposure to a broad range of high quality contentious and non contentious construction matters across multiple sectors.The RoleYou will join a supportive and high performing construction team, working closely with Partners, senior lawyers, and junior colleagues. Drafting, negotiating and advising on standard and bespoke construction and engineering contracts (JCT, NEC, IChemE, IET, ACA)Handling a mix of contentious and non contentious construction mattersAdvising clients across sectors including waste, infrastructure, higher education, health, and commercial property developmentSupporting clients at all stages of the construction process, from early project planning to dispute resolutionWorking with developers, funders, investors, contractors, and consultantsManaging a varied caseload with opportunities to take responsibility for complex and high value mattersCollaborating with colleagues across the wider firm to support commercial property transactions and major projectsThe team is known for its strong reputation, high quality work, and close knit culture, offering a sociable and interactive working environment.Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a construction lawyer with:2+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in construction lawExperience across both contentious and non contentious matters, or a willingness to develop in bothStrong drafting and negotiation skillsA collaborative mindset and enjoyment of team based workExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive, positive, and engaging approachConfidence working with a wide range of clients and stakeholdersWorking ArrangementsThe firm operates a hybrid working model.
