An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy claimant injury team in Bristol.
This role will involve managing your own caseload of personal injury claims, including cases involving vulnerable road users such as cyclists, pedestrians and motorcyclists, as well as minor to moderate head injury claims.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of personal injury claims, progressing matters through pre- and post-litigation stages.
- Handle cases valued up to £25,000 through MOJ Portal and non-Portal routes.
- Progress claims through to trial where required, including issuing proceedings and complying with court directions.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and update stakeholders regularly.
- Liaise with insurers, solicitors and expert witnesses; attend risk assessment meetings.
- Ensure compliance with service standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience handling a claimant personal injury caseload with a strong understanding of MOJ Portal processes.
- Experience handling Fast Track matters and litigation is essential.
- Excellent organisation, communication and case management skills.
- Proactive, client-focused and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Working pattern
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working: 2 days per week in the Bristol office and 3 days working from home.
