Chadwick Nott are happy to be working with a leading international law firm in their search for an Associate to join the Transactional Banking team in Bristol. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-value, cross-border finance transactions within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
The Role
- This client-facing role offers exposure to a wide spectrum of banking and finance matters.
- Advising on acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and data centre finance.
- Supporting on public bids, private acquisitions, and event-driven financings.
- Handling investment-grade loans, asset-backed and receivables financings.
- Collaborating with colleagues across UK and international offices.
- Building relationships with banks, sponsors, corporates, and asset managers.
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives.
- Working closely with partners, associates, trainees, and paralegals.
- Delivering high-quality legal and commercial advice.
Candidate Requirements
- This role is suited to a finance lawyer with:
- 2-3 years PQE in transactional banking.
- Experience gained at an international or leading regional firm.
- Strong academic background and technical expertise.
- Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset.
- Willingness to engage in business development.
- Collaborative and proactive approach.
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse and high-performing team.
Working Arrangements
This role supports hybrid working, with a minimum of three days in-office per week, subject to client needs.
