We are delighted to be working with a national business to recruit an Associate Supervising Solicitor to join a varied, high volume litigation department. In this role, you will provide technical supervision to a team of five, primarily overseeing Small Claims and Fast Track matters. You will also manage your own caseload of consumer and commercial contract disputes, assessing prospects, negotiating settlements, and litigating through the Civil Courts when required. Supporting Senior and Principal Associates and delivering exceptional client service will be central to your work.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with strong expertise in Contract Law and Civil Procedure, proven people management experience, and a background in Fast Track litigation. You will be highly organised, assertive, customer focused, and confident in offering clear, empathetic legal advice. You will also be skilled at mentoring junior colleagues and identifying effective solutions to complex issues.
