A leading national firm is seeking a Construction Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join its top tier Construction & Engineering team, advising on major development, infrastructure and built environment projects across the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high profile, complex matters within a collaborative, supportive and market leading team.

The Role

  • You'll work on a wide range of transactional construction matters within the built environment sector, including:
    • Advising on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects
    • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, warranties and security documents
    • Working closely with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large scale projects
    • Supporting developers, funders, investors and occupiers on complex construction arrangements
    • Advising on UK and international projects across commercial, residential and mixed use schemes
    • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
    • Supporting senior lawyers on high value and strategic matters

Candidate Requirements

  • This role is suited to a solicitor with:
    • 4+ years' PQE in transactional construction
    • Strong experience advising on built environment and real estate related construction matters
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills
    • The ability to manage a varied and complex workload
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • A collaborative, proactive and commercially minded approach
    • Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor
