This is a replacement role within a thriving department that continues to invest heavily in private family work, offering an exciting opportunity to join at a time of growth and strategic focus. The RoleYou'll be joining a Tier 1 ranked family team with a strong reputation across the region.
The team handles exclusively privately funded matters, with a high net worth client base including professionals, business owners, sports clients and those with agricultural interests. You'll manage a varied and high quality caseload, including: Complex financial remedy workPrivate children mattersCohabitation disputesCases involving business assets, farms, land, pensions and multi property portfoliosWorking closely with senior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative, supportive team cultureThe team is led by a Legal 500 ranked Partner in Bristol, with further senior investment including a new Partner joining in Taunton.
This is a strong, stable and ambitious department with clear progression opportunities. Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to an experienced Family Associate with:3-5 years' PQEStrong experience in privately funded financial remedy and private children workA solid foundation in litigation and awareness of non court dispute resolution practicesExcellent technical ability and commercial awarenessConfidence managing complex, high value mattersStrong communication and organisational skillsA proactive, client focused approachExisting local professional connections (advantageous)Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close knit teamCandidates from Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Swindon and Newport will be considered.
