A leading international law firm is seeking a Supervising Associate (4‑6 PQE) to join its specialist AI Regulatory & Technology Disputes team in Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of AI, emerging technologies, and complex commercial disputes, advising major global organisations on high value and high profile matters. The team is recognised as a market leader in AI regulation and technology related disputes, handling cutting edge issues involving regulatory enforcement, data usage, algorithmic decision making, cyber incidents, technology failures, and multi‑jurisdictional investigations.

The Role

  • AI related regulatory enforcement and compliance matters
  • Technology and digital related commercial disputes
  • Investigations involving innovative products, platforms, and emerging technologies
  • Multi jurisdictional disputes involving novel legal and factual issues
  • Supervising junior lawyers and managing workstreams
  • Contributing to the development of the firm's AI and technology disputes offering
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider national and international network

Candidate Requirements

  • 4‑6 years' PQE in complex commercial disputes, investigations, or contentious regulatory work
  • Experience in AI, technology, data, or digital related disputes
  • Preferred but not essential: experience in AI regulation or broader EU tech regulation
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise junior team members and manage discrete aspects of matters
  • Confidence working on fast moving, high stakes matters
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to high quality client service
  • Training and qualification at a leading law firm or the Bar
