Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Private Client - Bridgewater - NQ-2 Years PQE
Location: Bridgwater (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 + KPI linked bonus
A long established and well regarded Somerset law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (NQ-2 years PQE) to join its growing Private Client team in Bridgwater. The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied Private Client caseload, including:
- Wills and LPAs
- Taxable and non taxable estates
- Estate administration
- Trust matters (beneficial but not essential)
- Court of Protection matters (beneficial but not essential)
You will also support the development of the department and help maintain strong client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a Private Client specialist who is:
- A Solicitor (NQ-2 years PQE) or Chartered Legal Executive
- Able to demonstrate strong client care and technical skills
You will need:
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- Experience handling both routine and more complex matters
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own administration
- A proactive, solutions focused approach
- A full driving licence for occasional travel across Somerset
- STEP or SFE accreditation is desirable, and ongoing training will be supported.
